About Riaz Shoaie

Academic Leadership Experience: As Academic Vice-President, I implemented initiatives that significantly improved student engagement, reduced dropout rates, and strengthened the overall academic structure. Additionally, I've served as a Professor for 24 years in different institutions focused on social and economic development, where I actively fostered student curiosity and integrated community service into the curriculum, bridging the gap between academic scholarship and real-world challenges.
The Social and the Private Sector Combined: Beyond my academic experience, my journey has taken me from leading non-profit organizations in the environmental and educational spheres to pivotal roles in the private sector, such as Vice President of a US software development company. These diverse experiences have enriched my understanding of organizational development, strategic planning, talent development, and performance management. I'm particularly proud of establishing a leadership development system in an NGO and also in a PR Company, fostering their sustained growth. This blend of backgrounds equips me to adapt and apply best practices across sectors, aiming to enhance organizational sense of purpose and their effective social contribution.
Coaching & Training: Provided personalized coaching and training to 50+ leaders and facilitated 200+ workshops and presented at conferences in 13 countries worldwide.
